Dates: September 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24 and 26 of 2024
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Format: Online, live meetings
Duration: 4 weeks, Tuesdays/Thursdays
Schedule: Tuesdays/Thursdays for 4 weeks, 3 hours at a time
Total Time Commitment: 24 hours
Due to the accelerated nature of this course, full attendance for all sessions are REQUIRED to ensure comprehensive learning and to qualify to write for the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt & Green Belt Certification exam.

Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a powerful process improvement system that helps business streamline operations, reduce waste and increase productivity. The result is greater profitability and increased customer satisfaction.
The Green Belt program offers a comprehensive training and certification path designed for individuals who play a pivotal role in their organization’s process improvement initiatives. This program will equip you with a complete understanding of the Lean Six Sigma methodology, which focuses on the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) framework to enhance quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
(Professionals can also take up Six Sigma Black Belt certification as well and can attain higher belt rankings.)

INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Tom Davision, P.Eng., MBA is a Global Operations and Supply Chain Executive with an epic track record of delivering remarkable results in product development, manufacturing, operations and supply chain management.
He is a Master Black Belt and has championed key global initiatives in Lean Six Sigma, achieving a 52% increase in number of Kaizens with a 21% increase in hard cost savings, and Flawless Product Launch, delivering 98% of product launches on-quality, on-time and on-budget.
He has provided P&L management, strategic planning and efficient execution for multiple projects with sales in excess of $1 billion. He has lead the development of numerous advanced and innovative products while delivering breakthrough improvement in both time-to-market and quality and garnered numerous industry awards and patents along the way.
Tom holds a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Regis University in Denver. He currently teaches Supply Chain Management at FGCU and provides consulting to clients across the United States and around the world.
